The Longest Day of my life

Well today... I’m the big 30.  We fly out at 5pm and land at 6pm, making this the longest day of my life. I will be turning 30 for 32 hours.

What a time we’ve had. It’s just been amazing.  Thank you to everyone who has supported us and has been checking in on our adventure and visiting our little travel diary.

We are very excited to share our photos and stories.

See you on the pacific west coast side.

PS> On the plane yesterday (leaving Tel Aviv) we watched the news and found out about the growing/ongoing conflict and the Israeli bombings.  We had no idea about any of it.  On our trip, we passed several bombed buildings from the previous ‘conflict’ but were totally unaware of the current happenings.  There was some smoke from Lebanon’s internal conflict that clouded the sky during the Declaration of the Bab celebration. But that was it.
