Oh Joyous Day

It’s 4:51am.  Went to bed at midnight. but I am VERY awake and full of so much joy, I can’t contain it.

Sitting out on our balcony, Sarah is trying to sleep.  The city is a bit quieter now.  The sun rises in about 45 minutes, if Sarah can’t sleep, maybe we’ll go down to the beach for the sunrise.  We are facing west from our place (so does the beach), may be some great colors. I’ll take a picture for you, if there is.

We’re not even in Haifa yet, but I can feel the energy of being here.  My joy has to come out somehow, so I’ve spent the last 30 minutes saying prayers for happy, healthy successful marriages for our close friends back home.

(Quick note: mom, the blue cord to get you on the internet is tucked behind the right speaker, where it usually is. Don’t forget to feed Henry).

People REALLY use their car horns here.  You have to be aware of all the vehicles around you. Even on the sidewalks.  It’s so neat.

The forecast says a bit of rain today and more rain on the Sabbath.  We seem to lasso it from home and take it wherever we go. Last time we travelled, we brought Vancouver rain to the record droubt in the Dallas area.

Hopefully there’ll be some dry patches on Saturday. With the city quiet, I plan to return to where we walked, when we got a little lost Thursday, to take some pictures.

Well the city is waking up.  It’s now 5:04am and the traffic has begun to built.  Bugs seem to be waking a bit too. Already got... excuse me... have a few bites. Good thing we have repellant.

Well sleep tight all you back home.

In our prayers,

The Mr of the Mrs and Mrs.
